WWE MAIN EVENT SPOILERS FOR TOMORROW By Billy Krotchsen on 2012-11-06 20:31:53 Taped for tomorrow's Main Event: *R-Truth defeated Heath Slater. *Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett. Why would they do that? Seriously, the guy's back home. They're not in Ireland. This is bullshit. Of course they have to give Sheamus the spotlight....yet again

Ok, I'm double-mad here In addition to what you said, Saralee, why did they stop Heath's streak of victories? OO; If it's to make him feud against R-Truth, ok. But 3MB was supposed to show no weakness for a few more weeks to fully establish themselves. Heath had the support from the crowd on RAW, people chanting "3MB!" or repeating his air-guitared "Wooooh!!!". He's already removed from the Tour, why are they doing this to him in addition?

I, too, think that it's bullshit for Wade to lose to Sheamus, in front his home country. WTF Mr. McMahon and the creative team, for doing that to his character like that.

Same here. I was mad that Heath lost also to R-"Freaking"Truth. Mad at Mr. McMahon and the creative team, big time for that.

I go to SmackDown tonight, but I swear girls, I already want to be tomorrow. I hate stupidity, and that Main-Event is a perfect example! -__-

What was the point of airing the video package only to have him lose? -_-

To saralee, I agree that they are assholes for doing that to Wade Barrett.

Now I've observed something that could be interesting if WWE is on the same page. MAIN EVENT was recorded on Tuesday, one day after the huge pop Wade received on RAW, leading to his "face-turn" and alliance with John Cena in a dark match after the show. During the match Wade vs Sheamus, Wade kept receiving most of the crowd support (the "let's go Sheamus" were mostly kids' voices). Even though supported by a HEEL (Big Show), his attitude was more of a Face than a true Heel. He didn't yell at the referee, he didn't do cheap shot (or really less than before), he went close to the public to deliver a diving elbow, most of the time he looked quite, concerned, focused, but not his usual devious smirk and disdain towards his opponent or the public. I remember Wade when he was (briefly) Face during his time in the Independent Circuit. His face/eyes-expression on Main-Event reminded me of his old days. And what else did we see on Main-Event? Big Show, who was a supporter of Wade, turned his back on him and abandoned him in the end. If Wade is still not OFFICIALLY a Face, this "betrayal" could be the trigger of his change. Let's see how WWE will handle this when Wade won't be anymore in his home country. But honestly, I prefer THIS Wade to the flat-mercenary Heel type of character we've seen in the past. You can feel there can be more depth for him, and he could try (= be allowed) much more moves as a Face, showing his true potential

I think he was a "face" momentarily because he was back in England so of course he's gonna be the hero. But when he goes back to the states, he'll go back to being a heel. He's just too good at it.

Or Big Show might turn face again and Wade would stay as a heel

To have Big Show turn face, they'd have to make Sheamus turn Heel. However, Big Show having attacked Sheamus in a pub, doesn't make him look "nice" to the eyes of the public If WWE have to make Big Show or Wade turn face in the future, they'd meet less difficulties with Wade He's already been half-Face this week, so...

They'd lose a really good heel if they turned Wade face. I shutter to think how they'd ruin his character (ie: John Cena). Everyone loves to hate him and he still gained popularity as a heel. Natalya usually plays a heel but is a face when she's in Canada.
