ROYAL RUMBLE... "There must be only one!". Yeah, almost like in HIGHLANDER, minus the thunders and lightnings Taking the following facts into account, there's a probability that WWE will not let Wade win, even though we all want here to see our favorite Brit as the Last Man Standing in the middle of the Ring next Sunday. 1- WWE has given Wade a HUGE PUSH recently 2- WWE doesn't want to look as predictable as before & always comes up with surpriiiises. So, if Wade doesn't win, who would you like to win instead? Who would reduce your sadness by being the ultimate survivor of the 30-man upcoming battle? Eventually, justify your choice in a reply (note: it's not who do you think the WWE will CHOOSE, but your OWN preference )(note: I didn't put John Cena, Kane, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan, because they are already busy with other matches)

I want Wade all the way, but if not than Jericho, don't want to see Randy, or Pasty win.

(So so sorry for this long rant. Going through the whole list. Sorry Roselyne, I think I gave more than wanted...) They're all very plausible and good candidates. 1) Personally, and no offense but, I feel like the "new comers" shouldn't win. (Eliminating a few people.) Mostly because, while yes they deserve a chance for greatness, unless WWE Creative actually has upcoming plans for that new guy, what's the use in throwing away an opportunity for something actually spectacular at both the Rumble and Mania. Same goes for the jobbers or anyone without major storylines as well. (Again, nothing should be taken away from these superstars who work their butts off, but this goes along with big picture stuff. Why win the big match if the WWE is just going to drop the ball.) One more, I don't feel Hornswoggle and Ricardo are wrestlers so they shouldn't be in the match. (However, it wouldn't surprise me if either somehow miraculously, and disappointingly, won. Storyline and realistically. Would good Sheamus really give up a spot in Wrestlemania to be the good guy who lets either win? However, Ricardo could possibly be in in place of Del Rio.)
2) I also feel those just returning (Mysterio, HHH, Clay, Nash) shouldn't be in the running either. Not that they don't deserve it, but it's predictable and because it's like "Oh you're back! Let's just give you a spot in Wrestlemania!" They've done that in the past before and unless they're planning on retiring this year, there's always next year and time to build a credible feud. However, I'm going to exclude Jericho (tentatively) from this list. I considered leaving Booker and Foley in, but chances are, Foley will be screwed out of the match and Booker will either be eliminated by Cody or not in at all. It'd be cool to see them main event, but chances are, that's not likely.
3) Going off storyline, I feel two men shouldn't even be considered. Randy Orton and Zack Ryder. Both are "supposed" to be injured--- Randy, herniated disk; Zack, broken back. And "should" be out of the picture for months to come. Technically Del Rio is injured but he could make a surprise appearance so I can't count him out completely, but he won't be on my list to win it.
Now this leaves me with Sheamus, Jericho, Rhodes, Swagger, McIntyre, Kingston, Mahal, Truth, Miz, and Goldust. Of these 10, I'd want Jericho, Rhodes, or McIntyre to win, but I wouldn't mind seeing Goldust win(hear me out). Sheamus, Miz and Truth all have a lot going for them so I'm going to count them out, but feud wise, they're a bit preoccupied and this would start too many different paths Creative can't handle. McIntyre (especially), Kingston, and Mahal could use a win as a morale booster, but other than McIntyre, they'd be sort of pointless victories. Should Dolph win the title and Swagger win the Rumble, that'd make for an interesting predicament for Vickie, but that's happened briefly, so stale. Now the top 3 if you will. 1) Jericho: Obvious reasons. We want to know what's going on and would like to hear why the end of what we know is..here? I guess. 2) Rhodes: He's been pushed as a convincing heel. This win would be a crush Booker and Goldust leading to a family affair between Cody and Dustin. It would also make him a truly dominant heel without the Del Rio "destiny" factor. 3) Goldust: If he wins, it'll aggravate Cody and lead to a family feud. It would also give him credibility as a wrestler and credibility for other "older, washed up" stars like Booker or Foley that Cody criticizes.

*Braces herself as tomatos are going to be thrown my way* I personally don't see anybody "new" winning the Royal Rumble. There is a very slim chance that Drew McIntyre, Goldust, Booker T, Nash, and a few other that WILL NOT win the Royal Rumble. I mean look at how quickly WWE took the belt off of Zack Ryder and gave it to Swagger this year! I see WWE giving it to somebody who's won it in the past already. I don't know if any of you read who's supposed to orginally win the Royal Rumble but I really hope WWE changes their minds and let's somebody else win it. I will be extremely disappointed if this person wins it......I really will be.

TinaMarie, if you think about Randy Orton, I agree with you.
I'm also highly suspect about a point, reminded by Karalyn: Randy Orton is supposed to be hurt with a Herniated Disk, and was originally announced out for 6 months. An operation on a H.D. takes a while to totally recover from.
And strangely, Orton is already back and fighting at next Smackdown this Friday, as if a miracle had been accomplished!
And if you remember the episode where Wade taught him how to fly over steel stairs, he was supposed to be already hurt before the fight (and WWE had scripted afterwards his departure with that flight). Have you noticed how extremely well he fought for someone with a H.D.?
Unless he was under heavy pain killers, I can't help but think of the other rumor I had heard back then: that Randy had taken forbidden stuffs once too much, and as that it was his 3rd time failing the Wellness Program, he was supposed to be fired; but due to merchandising issue, WWE had decided to camouflage that with some H.D. issue, and asked Wade to be the executioner. Thus leading to a hardest, more bloody, feud between the two (storyline).
This is just one rumor, heh? And I'm usually not the type of person to spread these. But people already mentioned it earlier. And now, Orton's miraculous return, PLUS the fact that many backstage say he's coming back TOO SOON, somehow makes me wanna keep that in a corner of my mind ^^;

If Wade doesn't win the RR, I wouldn't mind either Chris Jericho or Drew McIntyre winning it.

I would vote for Sheamus Lol you win!! And guess why... I was searching information about Elimination Chamber and I found a poster of EC 2012... with Sheamus on it That's why I voted for him ;D Unfortunately it's not the first time they release posters which are the answer for the winner of previous ppv (it happened last time with Orton - somebody had a belt and Orton had a match for a belt and they already released the poster for the next ppv with Orton holding a belt on it). but thanks anyway

It should have been Wade, I can't beleive how quickly he was eliminated and of course by Randy Orton Poor Wade. I hope he beats both Ginger and Orton up. He should challenge Ginger for that shot

I am so happy that Randy didn't win (no offense to you Randy fans, as I am one of them) but he's one of those guys who doesn't need these kinds of wins; he's already a maineventer. Anyways, Sheamus won! ;D
