In this Sunday (2012/01/22) WWE SuperShow at Las Cruces, New Mexico, before his match against Ted Dibiase, Wade cut a promo on Randy Orton, saying that he will throw him down five more flights of stairs to make sure he never walks again if he ever shows up on Smackdown. Ted DiBiase came out, but only stood in the entry-way and gestured toward the back. Randy Orton's music hit and he ran down to the ring and started beating on Wade, who then tried to escape a few times through the crowd, but Orton kept pulling him back, and apparently literally slaughtered him.
Epico, JTG, Kofi Kingston, Primo and Santino Marella interfered to help Wade because the situation was starting to become a bit too 'bloody' for our Brit. This allowed Wade to escape. Orton ROKed Epico, JTG, Kingston and Primo, while Santino barely managed to escape too.
So, one more House Show where something IMPORTANT happens. A marketing choice from WWE? Something to push people to go to the SuperShow, saying "Hey guys! House Shows are no more just events where you'll just see cliché house-show fights you could comfortably see at home. There can be huge stuffs happening there too. Come and see by yourself! Maybe you'll be part of the lucky ones to see LIVE something very few will see. And you'll be allowed to say "I WAS THERE!"."
But something else: Orton's attitude made him look like a Heel for the people who were there. Does that mean a Face/Tweener-turn for Wade? You can't have to Heels fighting each other, the public will automatically cheer for one of them and that 'lucky one' will start a Face-turn, all expenses paid by WWE.
Unless WWE decided to remove the boundaries between Heels and Faces, having just wrestlers fighting for their own reasons, and leaving the public freedom of choice.
... almost like what John Cena has kept saying for weeks now...
But the only thing Wade told on his Twitter regarding the House Show is: "Good time in New Mexico today. People of Mexican heritage always seem very polite and civil. They remind me of the English in that regard."
So... Was he sarcastic, or nice for real?
What's your opinion about it?

I don't know what to think? I guess we might see this on SD this week right with Orton returning. Maybe the finally two will be Randy and Barrett. A Raw superstar won it last year. I'm hoping for Barrett

Who else is getting tired of Orton? I'm just wondering why they're completely throwing the storyline out the door. Orton was supposed to be out for what, like 6 months? And now all of a sudden he's 100% or to the point where he's "healthy enough" to fight... with a herniated disk? It's like the Cena being fired situation all over again. I can assure the creative team, we won't forget about Randy if he's gone for a little while. Let the Winds of Change run its course and then bring him back for an interesting storyline.

Good point, Karalyn.
I was looking forward to seeing SmackDown WITHOUT Randy, while a (fresh) wind of change would blow, but I guess WWE was too scared of the merchandising consequences and brought Orton back to the Smack -___-

But you're absolutely correct about the merchandising. Only time will tell how this will play out. I will say, Wade looked quite well tonight on Raw.

I know, they should hav ekept Randy off screen for 6 months and thna he could have come back and got Wade. He looked Hot on Raw. I love him, I'll push him down 5 flights of stairs next time ;D

I was thinking about this earlier, and 1.) it would have made more sense to bring back Orton 1-3 weeks before Wrestlemania. Obviously there would be a Wade vs Randy match with either the "returning "hero"" winning or the "villain" winning. 2.) Wade goes into Mania the champ after defeating Bryan at any pay per view before it. A Smackdown superstar wins the Rumble but before the big Championship match, Randy attacks the superstar and takes his place. Wade and Randy battle.
Any other creative idea would have been better than this. And it would have made for an epic match at the Grandest Stage of them All.

I wouldn't be surprised that Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan turned heel. Both those guys have shown signs of a heel turn to come. BTW, I like Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton better as heels anyway.

I feel that Bryan is a heel, or at least either a new form of heel or very close to being a heel. Mostly because of the way he's holding onto the championship and using others to get the job done; telling Mark Henry to take out the Big Show, using the divas to talk to Show, etc. As for Orton, for the foreseeable future, against Wade, he'll be marketed as a face to a degree since Wade is the heel. He may do some heel like things but he is their Cena of Smackdown. However, if they're trying to change from PG, a heel turn could be the way to go.

I like Orton better as a heel, especially when he had the "legend killer" gimmick going for him.
